Surface Grinding

A key step in surface preparation

Grinding — Grinding of Concrete Floor in Jacksonville, FL
To get a long-lasting, great-looking floor, the substrate must be flat and free of adhesive, mortar, paint and other materials. SRS has the technology and experience to prepare your substrate properly, so you get the most out of your investment in new flooring.

Surface grinding removes imperfections and prepares the substrate for a variety of flooring – carpet, tile, hardwood flooring, paint or epoxy-based coatings to name a few.

The versatility of the HTC 800 Classic allows us to quickly change tooling to accommodate most projects. We are able to surface grind glue or other adhesives, open up nonporous concrete, and polish concrete surfaces. This machine offers a 32-inch path for wet or dry grinding. The HTC 270 EG Edge Grinder complements the 800 Classic to ensure a smooth transition from field to edge work. This machine is one of the industry’s closest edge grinders. Typically edge grinding is done by hand. The 270 EG seriously reduces the amount of time required to edge grind. With its low profile, we are also able to grind beneath shelves and cabinets. We also own Ermator T8600 Pullman HEPA dust extractors to virtually eliminate airborne particulates like silica and dust.
